what is a contactless card?

Contactless cards are the latest way to pay at the register. With contactless cards the transaction is completed by simply holding or tapping the card on a contactless reader, making checking out quick and touchless. 

The tap-and-go process usually takes less than a second, which is quicker than inserting a chip card—and way faster than using cash. And it's just as secure as a chip card!
